Common questions.

Everything you need to know before booking.

How does the recording rate work?

Every in-person session includes a $20/hr studio room fee. Each engineer's hourly rate is added on top — Eric Von is $35/hr ($55 total), Dillon Coomer is $30/hr ($50 total). Both fees are shown clearly at checkout on EngineEars.

How do I book a session?

Click a booking button on the Services page — you'll go directly to EngineEars where you can select your service, choose a date, and pay securely. Hit "Need help booking?" at the top for a step-by-step walkthrough.

What is Dolby Atmos mixing?

Dolby Atmos is a spatial audio format that creates an immersive, 3D listening experience. Apple Music and Tidal stream Atmos mixes, giving your release a premium sound. Dillon Coomer is our certified Atmos engineer — $200/song.

Do you offer remote sessions?

Yes. Mixing and mastering are fully remote — send your stems through EngineEars. In-person recording takes place at the studio in Knightdale, NC.

What format should I send my stems in?

Send 24-bit WAV or AIFF files at your original session sample rate. Organize by group — drums, bass, instruments, vocals. For 2-Track, a stereo beat file plus vocal comps is all you need.

What's the turnaround time?

Standard mixing turnaround is 3–5 business days. Rush delivery is available — inquire when booking through EngineEars.
